Personal Care

Personal care includes a wide range of non-medical services that fall under the heading of activities of daily living. These activities may include:

  • Getting out of bed and moving around the home

  • Bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

  • Medication management and reminders

Home care assistance is provided for the majority of our clients in conjunction with other services.

Who is it for?

In-home personal care is for anyone who needs assistance with activities of daily living. Most people consider this to be elder care, but home care agencies serve many individuals for their personal care needs. Individuals who need home care services include elderly adults, people with disabilities, veterans, and people with chronic diseases.

  • “The agency took the time and listened to my needs. Most importantly, the agency (Charnaya) paid close attention to all of my concerns, and I had a lot of them.”
